JDN Jessica Niland, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

“I have always been fascinated by people and the human experience. The vast differences, the strength and resiliency they possess, and the profound transformations they are capable of. My goal as a therapist is to reframe life's challenges and even more severe wounding as an invitation for growth. I believe in the powerful healing nature of relationships. In therapy we will co-create a trusting, safe relationship where you can relax and begin the work that brought you here. We will work togther to explore the areas of your life that you feel aren't serving you and celebrate the unique qualities you possess that will help you to achieve your goals. We will work collaboratively to address your concerns through developing self-compassion, learning relevant skills, problem solving, and strategizing. My approach to therapeutic work can be described as a holistic, person-centered and relational. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) strategies, mindfulness practice, and psychoeducation as my primary sources for supporting change.”
