March 24, 2020: Important update: We remain available for counseling services
As Michigan begins a three-week “Stay Home, Stay Safe” directive from Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in ongoing efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19, we continue to provide counseling services to new and established clients. For some people, receiving professional mental health services feels more pressing now than ever. We are here to help you.
Because our first priority is the health and well-being of our clients and clinicians, our counseling services are being provided through teletherapy only. Teletherapy is an effective alternative to in-office counseling, and many of our clients have already transitioned to this method of receiving mental health services.
You can find more information on how teletherapy works HERE.
CFPS will resume in-office appointments as soon as we can safely do so. In the meantime, we hope you remain healthy and safe.
