Licensed Master's Social Worker

“In working with children/adolescents and their families I strive to provide the tools to address the challenges being faced and to help families enjoy each phase of life's journey together.  I believe therapy should be a fun, creative, practical and unique experience based on the strengths of the individual and family.  When addressing trauma I work with the family and individual to provide skills through trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy to create a trauma narrative.  The trauma narrative allows the individual to safely process the experience, create meaning and move forward with new insight and understanding of themselves and their experience.  Facilitating the sharing of the narrative with family members supports the healing and strengthening of the family as a whole.”
